Olivia Hussey was born on April 17, 1951, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved to London at age seven and studied drama at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

Olivia gained international fame for her role as Juliet in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film adaptation of “Romeo and Juliet.” Starred in “Black Christmas” (1974), “Jesus of Nazareth” (1977), and “Death on the Nile” (1978). She also voiced characters in several “Star Wars” video games. She married three times and had three children. She struggled with agoraphobia and had a significant health battle with breast cancer.

Olivia Hussey passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 73.
